The safeguarding children in education training service offers a holistic training package in relation to safeguarding children training across all schools in North Tyneside that is endorsed by North Tyneside Safeguarding Children Partnership (NTSCP) meaning it is always current and responsive to local and national priorities.

The service provides a high standard of safeguarding training for staff working across a variety of key stages and for all roles in school.

By having a dedicated and experienced training and development officer who provides a single point of contact and ease of access to training, schools have ongoing support to meet their statutory duty to safeguard children as required by DfE and Ofsted.
